folio.
Privacy notice
Your information
folio. is operated by Halley Hobbs in Colorado, United States. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@folioplanner.app. Effective October 16, 2026.
What folio. stores
Your account stores your email, profile name, preferences, tasks, habits, goals, journal entries, mood selections, Brain Dump notes, birthdays, gift ideas, dream boards and the photos you choose to add. You decide what to enter. Journal entries and mood records can contain sensitive personal information.
Device storage and account sync
Planner data and added photos are saved on your device. When signed in and online, planner data and photos sync through Supabase to your folio. account so you can use them on your other devices. This version does not use iCloud to sync your planner. Local recovery copies may remain after ordinary sign-out. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your account or its cloud data.
Connected calendars
Apple Calendar access uses calendars available on your device. Google Calendar, Google Tasks and Outlook connections contact their respective providers with the permissions you approve. Events are saved only to the calendar you select. Calendar names and event details may be cached locally and used for reminders; folio. does not put your journals or dream-board photos into your calendar. Your calendar providers process information under their own privacy policies.
Google API data
folio. uses information received from Google APIs to provide the calendar, task and account features you request. folio.’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Photos, notifications and sharing
folio. reads photos you select rather than uploading your entire photo library. Photos added to journals or boards become part of your planner and account sync. Notifications may show event names and times on your lock screen; control previews in device Settings. Sharing a greeting card sends the exported image through the app or recipient you choose. Copies saved to Photos, Files or Messages are outside folio.’s account storage.
Security and service providers
Connections use HTTPS and sign-in credentials are kept in the device Keychain. Planner storage uses device protections and account access rules; it is not end-to-end encrypted by folio. Supabase processes account and planner data for the service. Apple, Google, Microsoft and a sharing destination may process data when you use their features. This build contains no advertising SDK or cross-app tracking integration. TestFlight may separately collect crash reports and feedback under Apple’s beta-testing terms.
Retention and deletion
Account data stays in the service until you remove it or delete your account. Delete account removes your active folio. sign-in account and synced planner, including stored photos, and clears its local recovery copies on this device. Provider calendars and copies you exported or shared are not deleted. Other devices may retain offline copies; use Remove local data on each device or erase the app’s data there. Limited service logs and provider backups may remain until normal retention expires; they are not available in the active planner. Contact us for questions about these copies.
Your choices
You can change or remove planner content, disconnect calendars, turn off notification permission, request access or correction, and delete your account from Settings → Privacy & data. To remove only this device’s saved planner copies, use Remove local data; this leaves the cloud account and provider calendars intact. For access, correction or deletion requests, email privacy@folioplanner.app. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.
Intended audience
folio. is a general-purpose planner and is not intended for use by children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account and provided personal information, contact privacy@folioplanner.app so we can investigate and remove it.

We will update this notice when the app’s data practices change. Review the current notice before using newly introduced integrations.
